USO of North Carolina opens new center at Raleigh Military Entrance Processing Station

The USO of North Carolina expands support for service members by opening its 11th location

On Thursday, February 15, the USO of North Carolina hosted a grand opening ceremony for its newest center, located at the Raleigh Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

The USO of North Carolina supports our nation’s service members and their families from the time they enter the military through their transition to civilian life. The opening of this USO of North Carolina center allows service men and women to be supported every step of the way.

The Raleigh Military Entrance Processing Station is one of only 65 MEPS in the United States. The mission of USMEPCOM and the Raleigh MEPS is to process individuals for enlistment or induction into the armed services, based on DoD-approved peacetime and mobilization standards.

This effort was made possible by support from the USO of North Carolina’s Chairman’s Leadership Circle and Patriot Circle Partners, and our local partners The Armed Forces Families Foundation and VFW Post 10001, Raleigh.

All coffee served at the center will be provided by USO of North Carolina Patriot Circle Partner, Community Coffee.
