USO Gaming
When service members return from deployment, gaming is a fun, easily accessible tool for reconnecting and strengthening bonds with family.
Gaming provides an opportunity to improve connections between the military, their families, and civilians and share experiences with others, providing a shared space to communicate and relieve stress through escapism. The Department of Veterans Affairs research shows that video games are an important tool for service members and veterans to overcome post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other invisible wounds.
