Giving Tuesday: The Global Generosity Movement
On Dec 1 the community will unite as one for a worldwide celebration of generosity.
This Giving Tuesday, USO of North Carolina will inspire generosity by encouraging our supporters to help us continue to strengthen our mission of Connecting Service Members To Family, Home, and Country.
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement. We will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on December 1, 2020, and throughout the year.
Now more than ever, our military deserves top-notch support from the USO, its volunteers, staff, and supporters. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the USO continues to adjust to a new way of life. We have transitioned most live events, programs, initiatives, entertainment, and training sessions into a virtual setting! Making sure to provide easy access to all service members and their families to join and take part in all that the USO has to offer!
This giving Tuesday, people around the globe will come together in unity and showing kindness and generosity in all its forms by giving their voice, time, money, goods, and advocacy to support communities and causes.
A few ways you can show support for your local USO and military community:
1) Make a Donation that will support our Warrior Family Programs, virtual and live events, Unit support, USO of NC’s Birthday cake program, supply drops, and much more! Donate Here
2) Our centers depend not only on monetary donations, but on in-kind donations as well. Help stock our USO Centers with essential items, food, and drinks for our service members Donate Here
3) Spread the word about Giving Tuesday and the USO mission of connecting Service Members to Family, Home, and Country. We ask that you encourage your friends and family to support this worthy cause!
