Join the USO of North Carolina’s Pathfinder team for the first Operation Exit Strategy of 2020. January’s Operation Exit Strategy focuses on Federal Resume building and Let’s Get Ready for School 1000-1200 - Resources and Federal Resume building with the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) 1200-1230 - Lunch (only available to morning session participants) 1230 - 1430 - Specialized Session: Let’s Get Ready for School with Western Governors University (WGU) 1430 -1500 - Mini Networking Session with WGU (Some of the information WGU will cover are choosing between a degree or certification, GI Bill, predatory practices exhibited by some schools, picking a school, application process, letter of interest, FAFSA, picking a major, private vs. public schools, and understanding academic life/culture) Event is open to transitioning service members, military spouses, and Reserve and National Guard members.
