12:00 AM EDT ( 000Q)

The USO of NC Fort Bragg in partnership with the Downtown Alliance presents the All-American Fayetteville Challenge, a fundraising event that will be held from 10am-1 pm, on Saturday, March 25, 2017. The All-American Fayetteville Challenge will bring 200 or more participants to downtown Fayetteville for a morning of fun and exploration of many landmarks and local businesses. Teams will arrive and check in at the Festival Park rally point and head toward their challenge locations with swag bags filled with items from downtown businesses and sponsors. The bags will also be used to collect items throughout the challenge. Registration for this event requires two-person teams with a maximum of 100 teams. Participants should form a team, assign a team name, be creative, and come dressed to win the Best Team Theme prize.  For reasons beyond our control, no pets are permitted to join the downtown adventure. A cell phone app will lead teams through downtown Fayetteville and each team member will be required to complete a challenge at a specific location in order to earn points for the finish.  In addition to landmark visits, teams will collect challenge tokens and extra points from downtown businesses, and by visiting additional points of interest along the way.  Teams will be given a window of time to complete the challenge, and participants are encouraged to walk the route. Fayetteville Challenge teams will use social media to post, tag, and share their progress, challenges and photos of places of interest. The All-American Fayetteville Challenge will wrap up at the Transportation and Local History Museum for an awards ceremony and a light lunch.
