GREG WHITT OF DRUM FOR CHANGE (D4C) will lead a virtual summer immersion about the CAJON DRUM. The cajon is a wooden box drum originally from Peru. It was innovated by slave laborers from Africa from shipping crates found on the docks. The drum was popularized by Spanish Flamenco music and later adopted in many forms contemporary music.

Greg has been a long time member of our USO reset team. He focuses on using contemporary and ancient rhythms as a way to unite individuals and families.
