TOURNAMENT ENTRY PERIOD: Monthly between February 16, 2022 and December 31, 2022

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY.  Tournament is open to members of the public, United States military veterans, active-duty, National Guard, and Reserve personnel and their dependents worldwide who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; however, a valid U.S. Military ID must be presented in order to be eligible for and claim any Tournament prizes. TOURNAMENT ENTRY PERIOD: The 2022 USO North Carolina Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament (“Tournament”) will consist of monthly poker tournaments held at 7 p.m. EST on the third Wednesday of each month beginning on February 16, 2022 and ending on December 21, 2022 (the “Tournament Entry Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: This Tournament is open to members of the public, United States military veterans, active-duty, National Guard, and Reserve personnel and their dependents worldwide who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; however, a valid U.S. Military ID must be presented in order to be eligible for and claim any Tournament prizes. Employees, directors, and officers of the United Service Organizations, Inc. (“USO,” the “Sponsor,” and the “Administrator”), USO’s affiliates, and each of their respective advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Tournament Entities”), and their immediate family members and/or those living within the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win. Tournament is subject to all applicable foreign, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Tournament: Download the “Pokerrrr 2” App (The App) from the appropriate app store for device Create profile with either Facebook or Email. Individuals registered as a guest will not be able to join USO of NC game room Register on Eventbrite at ___ for club code number. From bottom menu in App choose ‘Club’, and use code emailed from Eventbrite to enter room. Ten (10) minutes prior to the start of each Tournament game, open the Pokerrrr 2 App and select “register for game”. At 7 p.m. EST, the The App will start dealing cards. Individuals will be admitted to the room until 7:30pm. Each player begins with 20,000 in poker chips. Additional chips cannot be purchased. Players are eliminated when they no longer have poker chips available in the App or they choose to leave the game The App will continue to consolidate tables as individuals are eliminated. The final table is the last ten (10) players remaining in the game. Game play will continue until only one (1) player remains. Each player who makes it to the final table (10 people) will be given a USO of North Carolina poker chip and the winner (final remaining player) will receive a USO of North Carolina T-Shirt. Each player who makes it to a final table (10 people) will be eligible to play in the final Tournament game on December 21, 2021.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURES: No purchase or donation necessary. Tournament Entry Period ends on December 21, 2021 at 7 p.m. EST. Winners of the Tournament will be awarded, as described and valued below:

• One (1) grand prize: An ammo can with poker chips, valued at $99, will be awarded to the Tournament grand prize winner.

• One hundred (100) USO of North Carolina poker chips, valued at $1 each, will be awarded to each player who makes it to a final table during a monthly Tournament game.

• Ten (10) USO of North Carolina T-Shirts, valued at $20 each, will be awarded to the winner of each monthly Tournament game. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Tournament Entry Period. Maximum of 2000 players may enter per monthly game. TOURNAMENT WINNER: At the conclusion of the Tournament on December 21, 2021, one (1) grand prize winner (based on the final standings in the Pokerrrr 2 App) will be determined by USO, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Tournament. The grand prize winner will be contacted by USO via email with instructions on how to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond to the winner notification message (message will be sent two (2) times over a two (2) day period), or if said message is returned as undeliverable, or if an entrant is otherwise found to be ineligible, or if the potential winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, the potential winner will forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected based on the final Tournament standings in the App. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of an alternate winner, if any. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution by any winner or cash equivalent is allowed. Sponsor will not replace any lost, misplaced or stolen prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Prize winners are solely responsible for all local, state, federal, and foreign taxes and all expenses incurred in claiming their prize. Each prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the winner is receiving a prize and will hereby release and discharge USO, USO’s affiliates, and each of their respective employees, agents, officers, directors and legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to, the payment of any and all taxes that are due. Entry in the Tournament and/or acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for USO to use each entrant’s or winner’s name, image, likeness, biographical information, hometown, and (if applicable), prize won, for marketing and promotional purposes, including, without limitation, on websites and social media posts, without further compensation.

GENERAL: All entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, “Releasing Parties”), release, defend and hold harmless the Tournament Entities, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law, admiralty or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter can, shall or may have, which in any way arise out of or result from entrant’s participation in the Tournament, acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Tournament as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, explosion, pandemic, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any foreign, federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, or order of any court or other cause not within Sponsor’s control or concerns regarding the safety of any entrant, Sponsor shall have the right to suspend or terminate the Tournament. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. These Official Rules are subject to Sponsor’s interpretation. Entrants assume all liability for any injury, including death or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Tournament or use or redemption of any prize. This Tournament shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the District of Columbia, U.S.A., without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. Entrants hereby agree that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (collectively, “Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this Tournament shall be resolved, upon the election by entrant or Sponsor, by arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of either the National Arbitration Forum (“NAF”) or the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as selected by the entrant. IF ARBITRATION IS CHOSEN BY ANY PARTY WITH RESPECT TO A CLAIM, NEITHER PARTY WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE THAT CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON THAT CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ENTRANT WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH BELOW, THE ARBITRATOR’S DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING. NOTE THAT OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sponsor and entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sponsor and entrant alone. Furthermore, claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement, and without waiving either party’s right to appeal such decision, should any portion of this provision be deemed invalid or unenforceable, then the entire provision (other than this sentence) shall not apply. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Tournament or in the announcement of prizes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or illegible entries; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Tournament, or (iv) the failure of any third party to comply with the instructions and proper administration of this Tournament. By participating in the Tournament, entrants (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Tournament. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Tournament. Sponsor reserves the right to: permanently disqualify from any tournament, sweepstake, and/or contest it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and terminate the Tournament if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Tournament), or to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to termination.


WINNERS LIST: The Tournament winner will be announced via a post on USO North Carolina’s Facebook page ( by December 31, 2022.

DATA COLLECTION/PRIVACY POLICY: Entry in the Tournament constitutes consent by you to the collection and transfer of your personal information for purposes of administration of the Tournament by Sponsor and its authorized agents, and for such other purposes to which you may consent, or as otherwise described in these Official Rules. All information submitted to Sponsor as part of this Tournament will be treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy ( Specifically, Sponsor may collect information that you provide to enter the Tournament and will use personal information you provide to enter the Tournament to actually conduct the Tournament. Sponsor may further use the personal information to send you information about Sponsor or Sponsor’s programs and services. Sponsor will provide you with an opportunity to opt-out of receiving this information at any time after you first receive such information from Sponsor. Sponsor may also provide the personal information you provide to enter this Tournament to the Tournament Administrator and third-party fulfillment companies so that such companies may process and deliver prizes to winners.
